I am VERY pleased to announce that on April 24, 2009, my artwork was selected from among over 140 artists for inclusion in the Group Health Phase 2 Art Catalogue and Future Purchase. Whenever Group Health needs artwork for new or existing buildings, they will buy or commission art from this catalogue. It is an honor to be selected based on quality of work, appropriateness, and design ability.
upstream people 11th annual international juried show
From around 250 entries from various parts of the world, my hand-printed stone impressions entitled, "Because We Can't Eat Rocks II", "Ephemera", "Five Smooth Stones, Five Green Bones", "Rock Paper Scissors" and "Satisfy; Rock Sundae" were all selected for the “11th Annual Contemporary Art International Online Juried Exhibition” at Upstream People Gallery - which gets about 800,000 hits per month. Three of my images received special recognition and were written up in the juror's statement.
The exhibition opened worldwide on May 1, 2009 at www.UpstreamPeopleGallery.com and be on view through April 30, 2010. This show will be featured for one month and then be moved to the “Archive” section of the web site. The exhibition will run for a complete 12 months’ representation.
solo show in kent, washington
