These silks are studies for custom art for a private residence. Silk will be encased within glass and suspended in the architectural trusses.

Some project themes include: cedar, evergreen, all seasons, Pacific Northwest beauty, and "new growth on mature trees."

I always try to draw from reality - i.e real models.

The artistic goal is to render cedar in a convincing fashion, capturing its color, form, and graceful gesture.
