a season of soul care

In Spring 2020, during the corona virus pandemic, a "stay home" order suddenly cleared my evening schedule and studio. While spring is a very busy season, this spring offered a retreat-like quiet that fostered focus - resulting in over thirty new paintings. Here below are about half the paintings - these have soul-renewing imagery of water.

Poppy: Wide Awake! These poppies grow at the water's edge, lit by sun and sparkling light off the waves, I had to paint them. So they are florals, yet they are in the context of water and light. oil  on canvas 6 x 6 inches
