Because We Can't Eat Rocks
My recent theme of We Can't Eat Rocks reveals something of human appetite and of that which satisfies and of that which disappoints. These images invite us to step beside the real world to safely experience the hilarious and disturbing nature of human need, desire and satisfaction.
This image, created on quarried limestone printing plates, incorporates the edge of a stone plate as a graphic element. Look closely at these "stones". Eight of them are edible.
